Thank You

Dear Friends,

By now, you’ve probably heard that I was not successful in my bid to become the new County Supervisor in District 1.  While disappointed in the outcome, I have no regrets in our collective efforts.  We ran a great race and offered voters a viable choice.  The outcome is strictly up to the voters to decide and so be it.  I congratulated Steve Bennett this morning and hopefully he hears your comments.

We live in a great area and this election is not the end, only the beginning.  I have witnessed a coalescing of many views during my platform talks and I truly believe that this new voice can continue if you want it to.  The real loss of this race is if the new voice becomes silent and gives up.  Please continue to express yourself and not let others run over you.

I sincerely want to thank those of you who supported the campaign with dollars, physical activities and moral support.  I began this process with a small group that developed into a much larger family.  Please accept my sincere thanks and appreciation for your friendship along the way.  I will be taking a few days to reflect on where I’ve been and where I will go in my future.  I look forward to our continued relationships!

Sincerely,
